TradeWinds Communications Partners with Regional Transportation District to Support Civil Rights Outreach

TradeWinds Communications is proud to announce its new partnership with the Regional Transportation District (RTD), Colorado’s largest public transit provider. TradeWinds will lead strategic outreach efforts to engage and educate Denver’s diverse African communities on RTD’s Title VI activities, in support of the agency’s Civil Rights Division.

This initiative is part of RTD’s ongoing commitment to ensuring equitable access to transit services and compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, or national origin in programs and activities receiving federal financial assistance.

“RTD plays a critical role in connecting communities, and it’s essential that every resident has access to the information and resources they need to participate fully and fairly in the system,” said Tracy Williams, Principal at TradeWinds Communications. “We are honored to help bridge the gap between RTD and the city’s African immigrant and refugee communities through culturally responsive outreach and trusted community partnerships.”

TradeWinds will work closely with community leaders, advocacy groups, and cultural organizations to host information sessions, translate key materials, and ensure feedback channels are inclusive and accessible.

This collaboration aligns with RTD’s broader efforts to enhance transparency, community trust, and inclusive service planning across its service region.
